Pork Chop

MEET PORK CHOP AKA PORKIE! This adorable, low riding dream boat is a the happiest, sweetest, goofiest boy around and we are just obsessed with him.

Dogs: Pork Chop has done great with lots of different dogs both male, female big and small! He is currently living in a home with another dog. Very dog appropriate but does not need to go to a home with another dog to thrive, he is very people oriented!

Cats: Unknown

Kids: Would be ok with kids 7+. He is a little clumsy so smaller children might run risk of getting knocked over accidentally.

Exercise needs: Pork Chop is a moderate activity dog — just based on his stature he is not a long distance enduro dog but gets happy fits of energy. A long walk and supplemental play time plus short training sessions sprinkled throughout the day would be beneficial for Pork Chop.

Origin: Pork Chop was a stray intake at Visalia animal shelter so we don’t know much about his life before.

Current Location: Pork Chop is being fostered in Sacramento in an apartment setting with another dog.

Ideal home: You are — moderately active, have the time and resources to commit to owning a dog forever. You are committed to owning a dog for it’s entire life. You would be able to provide companionship & preferably have a yard though not required.

$250 adoption donation. Pork Chop is neutered, vaccinated (DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella), microchipped and monthly preventatives (flea medicine and heart guard). 45 lbs, about 3 years old.
