Luke

meet luke!

Luke  is a sweet, houndy 45lb 7 month old neutered male beagle/ hound mix (best guess) who came into our program from an overcrowded shelter's euthanasia list. He is getting tons of exposure to new people, and new environments in his foster home. He likes to play with his foster mom & his toys.  Super outgoing & quick to learn. Potty trained &  leash trained !

This poor boys been given the short end of the stick. He landed in the shelter at just 4 weeks old for the first time. A foster took him home, and decided to adopt, then promptly dumped him back off at the shelter 5 months later, at a ripe 6 months old. He sat there for 3 weeks until he was so kennel stressed he was euthanasia-listed. We stepped up for him to give him a chance at an amazing life! His adopter (as all should) needs to be prepared to commit to him for life!
