Meet Kona!
Kona is a 10 month old, Border Collie/Aussie mix and we could stare into his beautiful eyes all day long - did you notice one is blue and one is hazel? Kona is 38 pounds, neutered and is fantastic on leash. He is very calm and quiet - not overly energetic or hyper. He can be playful and shy but does fabulous with other dogs and young children. He would be a great 2nd or 3rd dog in a home that has a secure older dog. He has shown some separation anxiety when left alone so would do great with a work-from-home family or retired owner. Kona is an owner surrender who previously lived with a family whose living circumstances changed and they were unable to keep him. With his previous family he lived with another small dog and a teenager with no problems. Kona is looking for a soft sofa and someone who can mirror his laid back relaxed temperament.
$250 Adoption Donation will go towards Neuter, Microchip and Flea/Tick Treatment/Deworming — he is up to date on vaccinations.
