meet mimosa
Mimosa is an older German Shepherd recently rescued from Kern County shelter, where she was at risk of being euthanized.
It’s clear she hasn’t had an easy life.
Mimosa appears to have been overbred again and again, and arrived in our care showing signs of severe neglect, including a skin condition that is now being treated.
Within a week of arriving to our rescue Mimosa surprised us having a litter of 6 unexpected puppies.
She will be looking for her own forever home once she has weened them.
She is house trained, loving, gentle, good with other dogs and people.
No doubt her puppies will be adopted fast, but she deserves it just as much.
