meet buca
Buca is a 12-year-old Border Collie and one of the sweetest senior boys you could hope to meet. He came into the shelter after being found with a microchip. Everyone hoped his family would come for him, but sadly, no one ever did.
Shelter life was especially hard on Buca. As an older dog, he needed more rest, regular movement, and a comfortable place to relax. Once he got out of the shelter and had a chance to truly rest, we were surprised by the pep in his step. This sweet guy still has plenty of life, love, and personality to share.
Buca is a little overweight and would benefit from regular walks and a healthier routine, but otherwise he is a pretty easy guy. What he really wants is a soft place to sleep, people to love, and a peaceful home to call his own. A few things to love about Buca:

• Good with other dogs
• Potty trained
• Fine in a crate, though he doesn’t really need one
• Enjoys walks
• Happy to relax and just be near his people
Buca deserves to spend his senior years in comfort, surrounded by people who love him. He has already spent enough time waiting. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who would be grateful for a cozy home and a little kindness, Buca may be your guy.
