meet figgy
Figgy is a 1-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever mix who has already been through more than any young dog should.
He was found starving, nearly hairless, and in such poor condition that he was scheduled to be euthanized at the shelter. We saw past how he looked and knew there was a wonderful dog underneath who just needed some time, care, and love.
And Figgy has absolutely blossomed.
His coat is coming back beautifully, and through everything, he has remained the sweetest, kindest boy. He seems grateful for every bit of attention and affection he gets and is finally getting the chance to just be a happy young dog.
