Spot is 14 years young and spent his whole life as someone’s loyal companion. When his person passed away, he ended up at the shelter — an especially heartbreaking place for a senior dog to find himself.
He is the sweetest, gentlest old soul. Spot doesn’t ask for much: a soft bed, a few short walks, sunny spots to nap in, and someone kind to love him through his golden years.
He’s easy to be around, kind to everyone he meets, and has done well with other dogs and even guinea pigs — so we think he’d likely do just fine with cats, too.
Spot is simply looking for a quiet, loving home where he can feel safe again. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, content to keep you company and soak up every bit of love.
We’re hoping someone special sees what we see: a loyal, gentle companion who still has so much love to give.
