Meet Rosie
Rosie is a 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix who has already been through a lot for such a little dog.
She came into the shelter with her six puppies, but they were separated from her when they arrived. Rosie cried for them. Then, one by one, her puppies were adopted — until Rosie was the only one left behind.
Hearts For Paws wasn’t about to leave this little mama there, so Rosie came into rescue and is now safe with one of our wonderful fosters. And what we’ve learned about her is pretty simple: whoever adopts Rosie should be prepared for a whole lot of love.
A few things to know about Rosie:
• Very affectionate with the people she meets
• Incredibly smart
• Curious about everything
• Rides well in the car
• Walks nicely on leash
• Loves attention and being close to her people
• Would be happiest in a quieter home
• Best suited for an adult-only home or a family with teens
Rosie is the kind of dog who really connects with her people. After everything she has been through, she deserves a home where she can finally be the one getting all the love and attention.
She doesn’t need a busy household or a lot of chaos. Rosie would be happiest with people who want a sweet, affectionate companion to walk with, ride along in the car, hang out at home, and simply be part of their life. Her puppies all got their happy endings. Now it’s Rosie’s turn.
